Catalog of U.S. Government Publications (Government Printing Office)

The GPO catalog contains records of U.S. publications from July 1976-Present. As a Regional Depository, Louisiana Tech has the majority of these publications in the library and most can be checked out. Internet-only government documents are also available through the library’s database.

Congress.gov

Congress.gov is the official source for federal legislative information. It replaces the nearly 20-year-old THOMAS.gov site with a system that includes platform mobility, comprehensive information retrieval and user-friendly presentation.

Core Documents of U.S. Democracy

This collection provides American citizens with direct online access to the basic Federal Government documents that define our democratic society. These titles contain information about the democratic process that is critical to informed citizens. They support the public’s right to know about the essential activities of the Government.

FedStats

Statistics from over 100 U.S. Federal agencies. This database includes statistical profiles of states, counties, and districts.

FDsys – GPO’s Federal Digital System

GPO’s Federal Digital System (FDsys) provides public access to government information submitted by Congress and Federal agencies and is preserved as technology changes.

MetaLib

A service of the Catalog of U.S. Government Publications, MetaLib searches multiple U.S. Federal government databases, retrieving reports, articles, and citations while providing direct links to selected resources available online.

USA.gov: The U.S. Government’s Official Web Portal

Portal to information about the U.S. government and its services. Includes subject groupings, links to federal and state agencies, and headlines.
